USMLE Step 1 Online Live Prep Course

Delphi is excited to announce we now offer a Live Online Prep Course!

Our courses will run for students who may need a slower pace course with each topic step by step. Each live online lecture will run for 6 weeks. This will allow each student to watch the live lectures from the comfort of their own home. The sessions will begin at 9:00 am CST. Students will be required to attend each lecture, on time, and meet online or over the phone with the instructor weekly.

The course will follow the newest edition of First Aid Step 1 closely with UWorld concepts embedded in as well.

Students are then expected to complete question sessions while following the detailed Delphi schedule provided. Each student will follow the schedule to ensure success on the USMLE Step 1 exam.

FAQ's Related to Online Live Prep

What is the benefit of taking a livestream prep course?

Delphi Livestream Prep can be accessed by anyone from anywhere. Students will not face issues with having a visa, since it will not be required. Livestream prep courses through Delphi are cost effective and students will not have to worry about accommodations. The course will be more convenient and move at a slower pace.

How does the online livestream work?

The livestream will allow students to open a specific internet link from their computer. The sophisticated software will ensure clarity in both video and audio while the students are viewing the course lecture for the day. The lecturer will be shown live while sharing their virtual whiteboard with the First Aid PDF. Students will be able to see all of the annotations and hear the explanations throughout each lecture.

What resources are included with the livestream prep?

Students will receive a copy of the First Aid pdf included with additional information provided by Delphi.

How do I meet with the instructor?

Students will be able to meet with the Delphi instructors by setting a meeting. This meeting can be a phone call (WhatsApp), virtual conference, or if the student is local, they can come to the center to meet with the instructor.

What is the difference between the 6-week and 6-week plus?

While students are making the decision between the two choices, it is important to know that the 6-week plus course will allow students to receive help with questions and guidance until the day of the exam. The instructor will set up weekly meetings with each student to ensure they are getting the best possible educational experience. A common problem we see with students is a lack of proper discipline and routine. The 6-week plus course will provide guidance from the instructors to keep students on track.

What is a NBME/Assessment test consultation?

Once the test is taken the doctor/lecturer will review the exam performance and discuss with the students, so they have a full understanding of each part and be able to increase the score each time. Students will also gain resources on how to study for each NBME/Assessment test. This is very important to increase the score of the USMLE Step 1 exam.

I have taken the exam and failed, is the online prep good for me?

Delphi serves all students. If you have taken the test and have not passed, Delphi will find the areas of weakness and help each student improve. We make individualized plans to fit the needs of each student.

How much time do you need to study before taking the exam?

Each student is different and has different study techniques, some students are quick learners, and some students need extra time. Delphi will assess each student and create a plan based on the type of learner you are. The schedule will be for the duration of the course. When the course is complete, each student will receive another schedule with what to study and for how long. Each student is different, and Delphi will give the students approval to take the exam based on their NBME performance.

Is the information online different than in person?

The livestream online course will be all of the same information that a live lecture course would entail, but it is slowed down. The online course will take 6 weeks to complete. The material shared will be at a slower pace for better understanding.

How long will I have access to the online live videos?

Students are required to view each video on time, as it is livestream. The course will start at 9 am CST and last until 1pm CST. Students are required to be active listeners the entire lecture in order to obtain all information and be successful on the USMLE exam.
